We are the data controller for the personal data described here.
What we collect and why
When you contact us. If you fill in a form or email us, we receive your name, email address, and whatever you write to us. We use this to reply and to follow up about a possible working relationship. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in responding to enquiries, or steps taken at your request before entering a contract.
When you subscribe to updates. If you sign up for our newsletter or blog updates, we store your email address to send you those emails. Legal basis: your consent. You can withdraw it any time using the unsubscribe link in every email.
When you browse the site. We collect analytics data about how the site is used — pages visited, rough location, device and browser type. We use Microsoft Clarity. This runs only if you accept analytics cookies. Legal basis: consent.
When we run LinkedIn advertising. We use the LinkedIn Insight Tag, to measure the performance of our advertising and to receive aggregated, anonymized reports about our website visitors. It collects data such as your IP address, device and browser details, and the pages you visit. This runs only if you accept marketing cookies. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time through the cookie banner. For more detail, see LinkedIn's Privacy Policy at linkedin.com/legal/privacy-policy.
Data Transfer
Some of our service providers, including Cal.com and LinkedIn, may process data outside the European Economic Area. Where this is the case, appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses are in place in accordance with GDPR requirements.
How long we keep it
We keep personal data only as long as we need it: enquiry correspondence, newsletter subscriptions until you unsubscribe. If you would like your data removed, contact us.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you can ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict or object to how we use it, or move it elsewhere. You can also withdraw consent at any time. To exercise any of these, email [email protected]. We'll respond within one month.
If you're unhappy with how we handle your data, you can complain to the Dutch Data Protection Authority (Autoriteit Persoonsgegevens) at autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. When we do, we'll change the date at the top and, for significant changes, let subscribers know.
